When I found out I could not be a member of the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band this year due to class conflict, my heart broke. Being a part of such an amazing group has made a huge impact on my life. On Saturday, I got the chance to finally watch the band for the first time this year. Watching the Rams in purple gather onto the field made me tear up. If only I could be walking on with them. But my bitterness was washed away the second that band played. Having been a marching band fanatic most of my life, I knew a great performance when I see one (and love to yell about it!) With every moment that band brought to the audience, I was screaming for my Rams. I will no longer be bitter that I am not a part of the band. Now I can truly enjoy everything that the band does and the emotion they bring to the crowd. My body is no longer on the field but my heart will forever be a part of the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band.
